Vanmali M. Mistry FCCA

Having started his career as an accounts clerk in the manufacturing industry, Vanmali moved into a medium sized accountancy practice in the City of London where he became Audit Manager and achieved his ACCA qualification in 1970.

His experience extends into international and financial management including dealing with confirming houses and has been on the board of a commercial bank. Currently, as well as dealing with all aspects of a general practice, he specialises in property management for non-resident landlords.

Away from the office, he is actively involved in charity related work through membership of charities and community service organisations, and offices of district governor and various treasurerships.


Shashi M. Mistry FCCA

Shashi qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant with this firm in 1975, after having worked for two medium size firms in the City and West End dealing with large and small family owned businesses in a wide range of fields including manufacturing, property developers, nursing homes, hotels, farms, retail pharmacies, estate agents, solicitors and other regulated businesses.

He routinely deals with accounts and taxation matters but also has considerable experience in dealing with tax and VAT investigation work and offshore companies.
In his leisure time he enjoys playing racket sports. He is a keen cyclist and has also run the London marathon six times raising funds for various charities.


Jayant Mistry BA FCCA

Jay has gained all-round general practice experience since joining the firm over 30 years ago in which he has received all his training and also achieved his qualification.

He principally deals with accounts preparation and auditing small owner managed companies, as well as tax compliance for individuals. He also deals with the firm’s internal IT matters. Jay takes a keen interest in all sports and enjoys rambling.


Neelam Patel ACMA FCCA

Neelam Patel joined the Practice in 2001 whilst studying for her CIMA qualification. Upon completion of her CIMA in 2004, she continued her studies and achieved her ACCA qualification in October 2006.

She has gained extensive experience working on a wide range of clients covering family run businesses to medium sized groups. The experience covered auditing and preparation of statutory accounts, individual and Corporate Tax Returns, sole trader and LLP accounts, payroll processing and wider aspects of working in a general practice.

From 2006 to 2011 she also lectured part-time at the College of Accountancy, University of Westminster. Her lecturing covered both the CIMA and ACCA syllabus from foundation level to the final level. 

Neelam is a dedicated Liverpool football club supporter and takes a keen interest in football, cricket and socialising with the occasional drink.
